Few Steps towards Women Empowerment

We are living in a society where women are the only oppressed group and that lives in intimate association with their oppressors. A women's traditional role has changed during the last century to include movement towards gender equality. The empowerment of women is focused on reducing poverty, increasing democratic governance, preventing the crisis, and creating the recovery for those impacted worldwide. Empowering women starts right in our families, workplaces, and neighborhoods.

We should take some positive steps to empower a woman so that she can get her equal rights in the society what she really deserves. It can help to increase the voice of women in local communities and at the higher levels as well where influential and decision making roles can be obtained.

Some steps towards women empowerment are:

1. Create a Safe Space:

Where ever the women go, they always need to feel comfortable and free. There are so many cases we could have heard about when women or girls discontinued going to the place because they started feeling unsafe.
Have you ever thought that how can we affect change in the world if only half of it is invited or feel welcomed to participate in the conversation?
So, it's clear that if we want change in the society, in the country, we have to create a safe space for the women to let them feel free and comfortable in this male dominating world so that they can equally share their ideas. And for this, girls' education plays the vital role because girls' education can make a lifelong difference to not only an individual's life but to the larger society.

2. Teach Her to at least Read:

Although, today we're developed enough to understand the importance of education among both men and women. But, there some areas in the country where the women are still illiterate. Means, they can't even check the prescriptions on the medicine, they can't read numbers on their phone etc. Females constitute about 50% of country's human resource but lack of education snatches their chance to be a part of the progress and development of India. Lack of education means lack of awareness, illiterate women are not aware of their rights.
So, they must be educated so that they would be aware of their rights and give their equal contribution to the development of the country.

3. Teach some Job Skills:

Women should learn some job skills to be independent. Women learn beekeeping, mushroom farming, sewing, and other income-generating skills through training programs.
Independent working women can think best for their children's future, that would let to develop the best future of our country.

4. Build Self-Esteem and Confidence:

When a woman starts working, it builds a self-esteem that makes them able to stand alone in this world. Majority of women report that their self-esteem and confidence have increased since they started working. When anyone works with different kind of people, he/she develops a kind of self-esteem that lets him/her face all the troubles alone, also creates a will-power to answer all the society-related questions.

5. Encourage their Passion:

Young girls want to see the world with their fresh eyes filled with hopes. They see things many adults are simply too busy or too jaded truly to see. Today's women are too passionate about their career, which could influence not only their future but also ours, as they grow, learn and experiment. The world is meant to be explored, and the young girls need someone to help them on that journey. We can educate, train and cultivate them in their passions. And by educating them, we give will-power to them to always stand for their passion and not to feel let down even in the toughest situations of life.
We should encourage them to dream, think and ask questions. By squashing their dreams we can miss the most of their passion and innovation.

6. Learn with and from them:

Today's young girls are the leaders of tomorrow and the hope for today. Today's youngsters have brave, brilliant and inspiring things to teach us if we only take the time to listen to them. We will miss so much if we do not see the world through their eyes and do not explore the world with them. They need us, it's true but more importantly, we need them. We always need them for their creative ideas, to remind us why we do, what we do and the challenge us to rethink what we currently do.
Women have their own aspects of seeing the world, and we'll need them to get through their ideas and create a new world as they want to see. And, believe me..it will be a beautiful world!

7. Treasure them:

Do you remember those childhood days when we want nothing from anyone, but just to know you and to treasure you? Girls, especially, seeking this attention of treasure. In fact, many fairytales and movies are based on the treasure. Women should not be violated or abused in any way and should also they respect the man. Women are nothing but the partner to a man with equal rights. God created her as nurturer, a carrier of life. The woman is a wonderful homemaker with the wonderful ability to transform any dwelling place into a home.
We should give them space to make them think, and grow new and fruitful ideas.

Anything can be possible if the right thoughts should be given the right directions within time. Our society's girls have the courage to do something better for the society, the need is to let them dream big and let them work for their dreams. Then, I am very sure that we're definitely going to create a beautiful society where we, women, won't feel like oppressors.

I hope through these some given points you'll definitely get some idea of how to create a beautiful world where women too are capable to stand with us. LET THEM DREAM BIG, LET THEM FLY!! Let me know your own opinion so that I will try to pen down even better on this topic. RESPECT WOMEN!
